Who am I & About My HeartI am a Jesus lover living in Colorado Springs, Colorado though I am originally from Upstate New York. I ventured out to Colorado in 2018 after graduating from Houghton College (Wesleyan). I have had many struggles in my short time in this new place, but have had many successes along the way to. My biggest success is rebuilding my love for Jesus.
My heart is set on following Jesus Christ and accepting Him as my Lord and Savior. I have learned so much about me as a person and about the world around me by having faith in Him. |
I believe that the Father has given us so much to learn and that all this learning teaches us how to have a heart like Him. A heart like the Fathers is a heart that is joyful, happy, honoring, and full of compassion, understanding, truth, and grace.
I believe that everyone's story matters and that God is central to all our stories. He is our provider, our peacemaker, our lover, and our Father.
I grew up with out a father and though that was hard, through out time I have grown to love my heavenly Father. He has shown me so much love. He has shown me grace when I did not deserve grace. He has shown me how to be a father when I did not have an earthly father to show me.
My hope, which is given through Christ, is that you can find a father in Him as well.

7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.
Matthew 7:7
My hope is that you can find a father in Him because the heart that He teaches you to have is incredible. It is a heart that everyone needs to seek. It is a heart of love, truth, freedom, mercy, and grace. It is a heart that was once broken by our human nature, but is put together stronger, better, and healthier in Jesus name. It is a heart that prays without ceasing. It is a heart that remains strong, when we cannot remain strong. And it is a heart that is set on the Father to be more like the Father.
God, I pray for that heart today and every day for myself, and for those that come across this, and those that don't.
